Tidewater Golf Course Pro Am

I played one of the most requested courses here today, Tidewater Golf course, in a Pro Am.  The Sunbelt Senior Tour is playing 3 rounds starting Tuesday and they had a Pro Am that my husband, another employee and myself played with one of the Pros.  Tidewater is in great shape after closing for 2 months this summer to do some much needed work.  The weather was perfect, Ruth Chris was servicing sliders and lamb chops on the course and Outback served lunch afterwards.  The big event was a prize drawing for $10,000.00.  I did not win, but still had a great time.  We played with Bob Flanagan, a pro from Lawrenceville, Ga., which is where I am from, so that was great.  We played a Texas Scramble and since the pro could really smack the ball from the tee I did not have to use my driver very often.  All in all a great day and a great course.
