It's been good for Myrtle Beach golf

(NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC) - Everywhere I look the Myrtle Beach golf scene is soaring to new heights. Hootie & the Blowfish Monday After the Masters tournament was a huge success. The ESPN Mike & Mike Show was live on radio and television, the event sold out and a sizeable amount of money was raised for South Carolina Junior Golf.
I’ve managed to play half-dozen rounds the past few weeks and everywhere I go the courses are reporting a solid spring. There’s some great golf on some great courses available now in the Myrtle Beach area. It’s certainly not to late to make some Easter plans. There are some very good packages available.
Just this past week Dustin Johnson, Coastal Carolina University alumnus and former Myrtle Beach resident, signed on to be the face of Myrtle Beach golf. Johnson is a multiple winner on the PGA tour and considered one of the tour’s rising stars. I cannot imagine a better spokesman for the Myrtle Beach golf scene.
