Credit where credit's due

Even during the winter I’m fortunate to play 3-5 rounds of golf a month. Playing golf 12-months a year is commonplace and one of the real advantages to living in the Myrtle Beach area.

Although the courses are well maintained throughout the year, I have to give some seasonal props to the guys we seldom see. The Superintendents and maintenance crews have done a phenomenal job this year. From the north end to the south end I’ve found the courses from tee to green in extraordinary shape. Hats off to the guys with the tools!

Myrtle Beach golf courses get year around play. They really don’t have time off! We go from winter right into spring, our busiest months. Likewise we go from summer immediately into our second busiest season, fall. To maintain a high level of care during the harshest months is a real credit to the golf course crews.
