Myrtle Beach Golf News
Have you played Myrtle Beach's longest par 3's?
Par 3's are not always about finesse and control.
Believe it or not, the longest Par 3's in Myrtle Beach require as much brute strength as the longest drives. You likely won't play from the tips, but it still may seem a long way to the flag, so Bring It!
1. Wicked Stick #7, 265 yards.
It is only appropriate this hole sit atop the list because of the John Daly grip it and rip it influence. For most, 265 yards is a decent drive.
2. Burning Ridge # 12, 247 yards.
This whopper requires every bit of swing and strength that you have. This isn't a long golf course, but this hole is a killer.
3. Prestwick #8, 246 yards.
Give yourself the best opportunity by aiming left and run the ball up. Not much trouble lies around the green, but getting there is a problem
4. Dunes # 12, 246 yards.
One of Myrtle Beach's prettiest holes is followed by the most famous: The Par 5, # 13 Waterloo.
5. Mooreland # 7, 245 yards.
Be ready for a challenge as this hole fits in with the rest of the course noted to be one of the most difficult in the area.
