Eagle Nest Soars Again
Eagle Nest was one of the North Strand's first courses and it has stood the test of time, maintaining popularity in golf's most competitive market. All were reshaped and Mini Verde, one of the most popular strands of Bermuda grass was installed. The remade greens have much more undulation in them and the reshaped green side traps enhance the course's challenge.
Eagle Nest in a 4-star course, according to Golf Digest's "Best Places to Play" guide, but the enhancements have improved a layout that has been a comfortable home for golfers visiting the Grand Strand for more than three decades.
